What is chronic urticaria?

Chronic means the urticaria can continue to evolve at least 6 weeks (in certain cases

it can last years).

Urticaria is a disease characterized by groupings of raised red or white hives (wheals), angioedema (swelling), or both simultaneously which can provoke itching.

These hives vary in size and can appear and disappear anywhere on the body; generally on the face and extremities.

"Mentally, I'm better. I sleep better (I take an anxiolytic every night). [...] I have a long-standing history with hives and we haven't ended the relationship yet ..."
